Our Day At Turkey Run State Park

We had a fun day hiking at Turkey Run State Park.  The girls were little troopers.  They hiked 1.5 miles without complaining once.  We got to enjoy the beautiful scenery, bridges and water.

Emma checking out the water

Ella was a little timid at first to go towards the water

The suspension bridge that we will soon be crossing over....yikes

We couldn't wait to play in the rocks

And..of course...we just had to throw them in the water

Hmmm, I wonder if we mommy would let us get on one of those rafts

Here we go....getting ready to hike

Emma being a big girl and crossing the bridge with daddy

They obviously don't take after their mommy whom is scared of bridges

Let's see if we can beat mommy and daddy

Emma getting a ride with daddy

And, of course, Ella had to copy her sister

Ella really thinking she can hike with daddy's backpack..that didn't last long

Heading up the stairs with Auntie Em

Wow!  Look at this big tree coming out of the ground

Taking a much needed water break

This was scary!! Heading down to "Devils Ice-box"

This is soooo beautiful!!

Yep, this is what we just climbed down

Whew!!  That was tiring but we had so much fun!!
